Pawse Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
You choose what to record
Pawse is provided by yvonne to help you record things you want to buy, cooldown periods, goals, and progress. When you are not signed in, these records are stored primarily on your device. Pawse contains no ads or cross-app tracking and does not sell your data.
Local records and photos
Product names, URLs, categories, reasons for buying, prices, purchase or abandonment records, challenges, goals, progress, reminders, currency, and time zone that you enter are stored in the app's data area. Language, appearance, shopping impulse quiz results, personality and character preferences, quick-input settings, and some interaction preferences are also stored locally and are currently not synced through Pawse cloud sync. Photos use only images you select through the system picker, converted into small JPEG thumbnails; Pawse does not read your entire photo library. Device backups may be handled by the Apple backup service you have configured.
Sign-in and cloud sync
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, the sign-in service and Supabase process the account identifying information that the provider permits them to share, which may include your name and email address, to create and verify your account. Sign-in credentials are stored in your device's Keychain. When you use cloud sync, products and photo thumbnails, challenges, goals, progress, purchase records, and settings required for sync are sent to Supabase and associated with your account identifier so they can be restored and synced across devices. Availability of cloud sync depends on the feature and your plan's access rights.
App Store purchases
Apple handles Pawse Pro payments, subscriptions, and refunds. Pawse uses StoreKit to read products and verified transaction entitlements to activate or restore Pro features; Pawse does not receive your credit card number or bank account information. Apple processes App Store purchase information under its own privacy policy.
Other connections and feedback
When updating exchange rates, Pawse sends the selected currencies to the Frankfurter exchange-rate service. It does not send product content, prices, or account credentials. When you open a product URL or external link, that website handles the connection under its own policies. Network services may process IP addresses and basic request information to provide services and maintain security. If you contact us by email, we receive your sender address, message, and any information you choose to attach, to respond to and resolve the issue; the app does not automatically attach product records or photos.
Reminders and permissions
With your permission, your device schedules local reminder notifications. You can turn off notifications in system settings. When Live Activities are enabled, timer status may appear on your Lock Screen. Pawse does not request location, contacts, microphone, or advertising tracking permissions.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
In the app, you can edit or archive products, revoke progress entries, and remove photos or important dates. Archiving does not delete the data. Signing out does not automatically delete your cloud account. To remove your account and its cloud data, use Delete Account on the Account screen; once deletion is confirmed as successful, the account and its associated cloud records and photos are deleted. The current account's local data and identifiable recovery backups are cleaned up; recovery backups belonging to other accounts, guests, or unidentified owners are retained to avoid accidental deletion. Local copies on other devices and purchase records managed by Apple do not automatically disappear as a result. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions separately in the App Store. Service backups or security records may remain under the service provider's retention rules, and data required by law may also be retained. Support emails are retained until the issue and reasonable follow-up needs have been addressed. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion.
Security, service providers, and policy updates
Pawse communicates with cloud services over HTTPS and uses account authentication and data access controls. Apple, Google, Supabase, exchange-rate services, and email service providers may process data in different countries and operate under their own policies. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security. If data uses or features change, we will update this policy and its revision date.
